Alex Zanfaño is a distinguished finance professional and sports agent with over two decades of experience in banking, investment management, and football representation.

He began his career at ACF SVB as a private banking manager, where he honed his skills in wealth management. In 2001, he transitioned to the Front Office at Catalunya Caixa, initially working in the department of corporate participations. After two years, he advanced to the trading desks, specializing in fixed income and equity trading, with a particular focus on Credit Default Swaps (CDS). Notably, in 2006, he executed the first-ever CDS transaction on an electronic platform . 

In 2011, Zanfaño joined the pharmaceutical group Lacer as Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and later became the CEO of the group’s Family Office. During his tenure, he led the company’s international expansion through strategic alliances and modernized the Family Office’s structure . 

Currently, he serves on several boards, including Diagonal Asset Management and Has Capital, contributing his expertise in investment strategies and corporate governance.

In addition to his financial career, Zanfaño is a FIFA-licensed agent (license no. 202310-4709) and actively participates in player representation and football management. He is also the CEO and founder of Pollock Sports Management, where he leads strategic initiatives in football talent development . 

Zanfaño holds a degree in Economics from the University of Barcelona, a Master’s in Finance from the Instituto de Estudios Financieros, a Master’s in Taxation from Ernst & Young, and is a Certified European Financial Analyst (EFFAS) . 


He currently serves on several boards, including Diagonal Asset Management and Has Capital, and is also a FIFA-licensed agent, actively involved in player representation and football management.
